We certainly agree that mastery of Pure Coaching™ only comes with practice, practice and more practice. We design our workshops with a lot of practice. And we have several choices for you to make to sustain your practice and continue your learning beyond our workshop experiences.
On completion of the Destination Coach Foundation workshop, you can choose to continue your learning and apply for recognition of your learning with certification from either the University of Strathclyde in Scotland, or the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. Both universities have partnered with us to offer a certification in honour of your development as a coach. The process requires you to provide evidence of success in applying your skills and includes an assessment of a recording coaching conversation you conduct. Beyond this, we looked long and hard to find a further level of certification that really reflected the philosophies, principles and distinctions that align with our concept of Pure Coaching™. We found it in the Coaching Masteries developed by the International Association of Coaching (IAC).
To support you working towards this level of mastery in coaching, we offer a series of ten teleclasses, along with two assessments of your coaching, to help you prepare for this level of certification. For full details please contact us. You will need to complete the full Destination Coach Journey as minimum preparation for these teleclasses.
We are licensed to incorporate the IAC Masteries into our workshops. We are not an awarding or certifying body. The IAC is an independent examining body and successful certification depends entirely on you demonstrating the required level of mastery in your own coaching. Our commitment is to help you get ready as best you can for this level of Mastery Certification.
